THE 'WHAT' AND 'WHY' ABOUT B.KNITT
B.Knitt is a lifestyle apparel and accessories brand, inspired by the conservation of bumblebees and the planet. Using natural and eco-conscious fabrics such as organic cotton, recycled polyester and wool, each B.Knitt product carries nature at its heart. Our Bumblebee motif is an emblem of our love for the planet and nature as we truly cannot live without them, plus, they’re super cute!
But why bumblebees we hear you cry? After sitting in so many remote places, just taking a moment for yourself, you can always count on the gentle buzz of a distant bumblebee dancing around collecting their nectar for all to enjoy. Britt and Stu are the embodiment of the bumblebee, both designing, developing, and making beautiful product here in the Hive just like the humble bumble. Bumblebees are solitary bees meaning they work alone, collecting their food, making nests so that they can survive, but little do they know, they provide to every one of us every day through our flowers and food, pollinating the planet to keep us alive.
Here at B.Knitt conservation of the bumblebee and the planet is a part of our core goals and although we admit we are not completely sustainable yet, we are on our journey researching, developing, and ensuring we consider each products impact on our planet and pollinators.
